【ユニクロUT × ポケモン × Daniel Arsham】最新コラボコレクションが4月24日に発売予定

UNIQLO UT × Pokémon × ダニエル・アーシャム 結晶化した「ピカチュウ」や「ミュウツー」、「プリン」のグラフィックをプリントしたTシャツが展開

UNIQLO（ユニクロ）のグラフィックTシャツライン「UT」から、日本で1996年に誕生し、ゲームソフト、アニメーション、カードゲーム、近年ではスマートフォン向けアプリ「ポケモンGO」が全世界でヒットした、老若男女問わず世界中の人たちから愛されるアニメーションキャラクター「Pokémon（ポケモン）」と、ニューヨークを拠点に活動する現代アーティスト「ダニエル・アーシャム（Daniel Arsham）」によるコラボレーションシリーズが、2020年4月24日（金）に発売予定。

生まれながらの色覚異常を持ちながら、これまで様々なジャンルの作品を発表してきたダニエル・アーシャム。2020年春夏シーズンではキム・ジョーンズの手がける「DIOR（ディオール）」とのコラボレーションアイテムを発表するなど、ファッション界においても大きな爪痕を残した。

ダニエル・アーシャムは2020年2月に、“1000年後の西暦3020年にポケモンを発掘する”というコンセプトを掲げたポケモンとの現代アートプロジェクト「Relics of Kanto Through Time」を始動することを発表。今回ユニクロUTとのコラボレーションは本プロジェクトの一環となる。

本コレクションでは「ピカチュウ」や「ミュウツー」、「プリン」といった愛くるしいキャラクターたちを、ダニエル・アーシャムの観点から結晶化（石像化）したアーティスティックなグラフィックをプリントしたTシャツが展開。彫刻の様な「Pokémon」ロゴなど見どころ満載のラインナップはメンズ、ウィメンズ 、キッズを含むファミリーサイズが用意される。

本トリプルコラボレーションアイテムは2020年4月24日（金）より国内を含む世界中のユニクロ公式オンラインストアにて展開される。

Over the past year, I have had the fortunate opportunity to work with the @pokemon company and the animators from their studio. As the first visual artist to be granted access to the Pokémon Archive, my intention with the project was to not only bring the universe of Pokémon and the characters into my work, but to have my work infiltrate the Pokémon universe, as well. As a part of my collaboration with Pokémon, a collection of designs with @uniqlo and @uniqlo.ut will be releasing April 24th online globally. My studio worked with the design team from the original series to create this animation, even using the real voice of Pikachu. Join me in Kanto over the next year as this special project rolls out. ?
